Generation Adidas!

Tyler Rosenlund a star midfielder for the University of Califronia Santa Barbara (the 2006 NCAA Division 1 Champions) is set to finalize an agreement to become a Generation Adidas player. Although interest in Tyler is coming from more than the one MLS team it looks increasingly like he will be assigned to Toronto FC.

It looks like the GenAd list was realeased today with Rosenlund not among them. Is there any chance he can still be GenAd this year?

Probably more likely that Rosenlund goes to Europe if he does decide to go pro at all. The information was originally passed on by a very credible source who was postive Rosenlund was about to sign. I am trying to find out what happened however with the # of GA signings this year (only 8) and the loss of a few blue chip prospects that have decided to try Europe perhaps it shouldn't be too much of a surprise. Those that point to the weak talent this year are not understanding that the GA talent pool and the Senior Talent pool available from the NCAA are very much different.
