NEWS: TORONTO FC'S DARRYL ROBERTS CONSIDERING EUROPEAN OPTIONS

It appears that Toronto FC Supplemental Draft pick Darryl Roberts from Trinidad has not yet committed to MLS. He is considering an offer from a Dutch side, most probably Roda JC. T&T national team coach Dutchman Wim Rijsbergen may be promoting T&T talent in his homeland in order to get his players playing in Europe.

I personally would rather TFC bring Toronto a Christian Gomez type of player that although unknown before his arrival, has become a star player in the MLS. That said many teams have had a major decline in interest even with winning teams. The most evident perhaps are the New England Revolution who have had great on field success, but have had a big decline at the gate at the same time. While we do not have many big names we do have several players who were fan favourites at their previous teams - Pepe Cancela, Alecko, and Ronnie O'Brien which should bode well for TFC as well.
