TORONTO FC: MYSTERY MAN FROM CHINA SOLVED.

Our mystery Chinese player has been solved - 19 year old Xu Qing. Qing was reportedly on trial with Vitesse Arnhem in Holland in December. I would have never thought he was 19, simply because he looks much older in person. A fan who made it out to the Soccer Centre today, was smart enough to take some pictures during the morning session, and posted them over on Big Soccer. http://www.flickr.com/photos/69488674@N00/?saved=1

How do you get into the Soccer Centre?

Well here's the thing - on my way home from work I usually park my car, walk up to the front doors of the Soccer Centre, open them up and walk up the stairs and hang around watching with a dozen or so on lookers and die hard fans, some kids from the high school next door on the terrace. Not much to it really.

Remember fellas this is MLS were talking about. I would go up to watch Germany practice before the World Cup 1994 in Alliston, Ontario and even talk to some of the players without any hassle.

You ever going to say where you get your information from. Because it seems to be on other sites hours earlier and then you post it with no links to either site

The guy you are wondering about was rostered last year for Wuhan Guanggu in the Chinese Super League (first division). Will be 20 in March. No goal or disciplinary history I could find.

With regard to the information about Qing - I had about 5 emails sent to me directly - some were sent the night I reported he was in camp - all from the United States. His name was also on Big Soccer after someone linked the story - but again I couldn't verify it. I couldn't verify Qing, nor did i have the time to. BTW I think your taking this way too seriously its just a blog. This is a blog and my only intention is to promote a team I never thought would come to fruition. I don't make any money from this blog nor do I seek recognition. My intentions like yours I'm sure are to make Toronto FC a success.
